HISTORY

In 1987 the founding Company was created under the name of McIver-Porteous Insurance Services Ltd., with David Porteous as managing partner. Over decades of growth, expansion and acquisition led to several subsidiaries doing business across Canada under the name Working Enterprises Insurance Services Ltd. In 2012 the name was changed to Working Enterprises Consulting & Benefits Services Ltd. (WECBS) when the Life, Benefits & Consulting division was purchased by (CAUS) Canadian Administrative Underwriting Services Inc., owned by David and Michael Porteous. 

The company owes its continuing success to our long-term clients and dedicated staff. Together they have helped create one of the most knowledgeable Benefits & Consulting companies in Canada.
